ENROLLING AT LINCOLN ACADEMY
Applications can be found at the PCSB Magnet, Choice, & Charter School website or at this link:

PCSB

Lincoln Avenue Academy is a school of choice. Therefore, students must complete the county application to enroll. Polk County School Board's Office of Magnet, Choice, & Charter Schools handles the enrollment. Students must reside in the Lakeland school zone.

There is no admission criteria. Parents must complete the enrollment application during the county enrollment period for each child. Enrollment is by lottery. Lincoln Avenue Academy enrolls 90 students in grades K-3 and 88 students in grades 4 and 5. When applications exceed available openings, students are placed on a waiting list and will be notified when their number is up for enrollment. Students entering Kindergarten should apply the year preceding the Kindergarten entrance.

Applicants for Lincoln Avenue Academy will remain on the list for the enrollment at Lawton Chiles Middle Academy. Students attending Lincoln are automatically eligible for the enrollment at Lawton Chiles Middle Academy in 6th grade.
